Momentum Chiropractic Clinics are based in Newton Abbot and Taunton. They were started in 2010 by principle Chiropractor Matthew Wright. Both clinics have onsite parking and are based on the ground floor. Patient care is paramount and we strive to provide our patients with the latest up to date testing and clinical procedures in a friendly yet caring environment. This combination allows us to produce outstanding results. We work closely with patients to manage their needs, whether it is to get out of pain or to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
I graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth in 2005 I initially started working in Nottingham and Sheffield before setting up my own clinic back at home, I and have been working here in Newton Abbot since 2010.
I was drawn to Chiropractic after playing football with a school friend and seeing him injure his back with an ill-advised overhead kick, I was with him at the chiropractic clinic and it was there where I picked up the prospectus for the Chiropractic college after I saw the difference in him immediately after his first session.
Over the years I have worked as a chiropractor I have obviously gained a lot of experience and continuously expand my ‘toolbox’ of treatment modalities to support my chiropractic care and further my knowledge. I still get amazed at some of the results I see and I love what I do – I feel very lucky and privileged to have made a career out of helping people.
My personal motivation in practice is to help people of all ages return to what they love to do and to improve the aspects of their life that are detrimental to their overall health.
Outside of clinic work, I enjoy socialising with friends, playing golf and going for walks around Devon. One of my big passions is watching Exeter Chiefs where I can be found in the East Terrace on matchdays.
I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a Member of the British Chiropractic Association and The European Academy of Chiropractic.
You can verify my registration details by visiting the GCC’s website here.
